We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Access to the full Adulting Academy content library requires an Academy Pass:
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your payment is a single charge at the time of purchase. We do not store your card details and no further charges are made.
Customers who previously purchased a monthly or annual Academy Pass subscription retain their existing plan on its original terms, including recurring billing, until they cancel.
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing for future purchases.
Certain lessons and tools on Adulting Academy are available for free without a subscription. We reserve the right to change which content is free at any time. Free content is subject to the same terms of use as paid content.
Free tools may display third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense. Advertisements are not shown to users with an active Academy Pass.
The Lifetime Academy Pass is a one-time purchase with no recurring billing, so there is nothing to cancel.
If you hold a legacy monthly or annual subscription, you may cancel it at any time through your My Account page. Upon cancellation:
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a refund in certain circumstances, such as if the service is not fit for purpose or significantly different from what was described. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under these rights, please contact us.
All content on Adulting Academy, including lessons, written material, tools, graphics, and the platform design, is owned by or licensed to Adulting Academy and is protected by Australian and international copyright law.
Your Academy Pass grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own private, non-commercial learning purposes. You may not:
You agree to use Adulting Academy only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms.
We aim to keep Adulting Academy available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience technical issues from time to time.
We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove content and features at any time. If we make significant changes that materially reduce the value of your subscription, we will notify you in advance and you will have the option to cancel for a pro-rata refund.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Adulting Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the platform or its content.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
Adulting Academy uses third-party services to operate, including Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for data storage, and Google AdSense for advertising on free tools. Your use of these services through our platform is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services linked from our platform.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Adulting Academy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights you have under Australian law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
